From 1998 till 2015, Peter Niggli was the director of Alliance Sud -Swiss Alliance of Development Organisations – the common lobbying platform for development policy of the six leading Swiss development organizations.
In his role as a journalist and former communal politician, he gained recognition as a specialist for African politics and global development as well as environmental politics.
Through his activities as director at Alliance Sud, he disposes of a worldwide network of development agencies and broad insight into the development field.
